We have worked closely with community leaders and county and city officials to protect the environment and maintain its “ranch” character. Lake on Flat Creek was subdivided in such a way to enhance its aesthetics with strict covenants, conditions and restrictions relating to use and development. The renowned Wareing & Associated, Inc. performed a comprehensive environmental site assessment on the entire 515-acres. A review of Federal and State regulatory databases and local agency inquires did not identify the presence of any environmentally suspect facilities on or in the vicinity of the property except for an old abandoned former livestock drenching pit.

Hazardous waste remedial actions relating to the pit were completed under the supervision of the Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commission. All environmental investigative or remedial actions are complete. This clean bill of health protects your investment and is required by some lenders regarding financing your homestead. The paved private roads were designed to reduce impervious coverage, tree removal, and erosion and to protect the natural landscape. The paved roads give better traction during wet seasons, less maintenance and dust.
